Each Sunday they had a reading on an African American hero or heroine as part of their recognition of Black History Month. Henrietta Lacks was the featured heroine on one of the Sunday services. It was the first time in my life that I had heard of her. Now, a month later I'm hearing about her again. I think that I need to read this book that you referenced.
