Jesse L. Martin is leaving the Law & Order television series after starring in over 200 episodes. His next career move is to star in a biopic entitled 'Sexual Healing' about soul singer Marvin Gaye. There are few positive Black male role models on television, so we will miss Jesse L. Martin...
I love him on L&O. I wish him the best.
ReplyDeleteNice looking! :D I am sure he will be successful wherever he goes...
ReplyDeletelike the black & white photo of him.Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteI will will him also. I think the Marvin gaye Story will be good.
ReplyDeleteAnswering your question from my blog: the workers are keeping the rows free of weeds etc. The bulbs are what are harvested and in another week or two the flower heads will be lopped off and the bulbs allowed to grow. Right now it is Tulip Festival in the Valley and people are allowed to walk among the tulips in certain fields, taking pictures and just enjoying. It is very beautiful with the few thousand acres in tulips and daffodils and after the tulips are done the Iris will be blooming.
Thanks for visiting my blog--I enjoy yours. MB
I like Jesse Martin, and have since he was on Alley McBeal. I think he is a very under rated actor.
ReplyDeleteBTW - I think him as Marvin Gaye is a good choice! The looks fit and it may be a stepping stone to bigger and better for him.
ReplyDeleteI love Jesse! He is from my hometown too. I am so sad that he is leaving L&O.
ReplyDeleteHi everyone! {waves}
ReplyDeleteWould you believe...
I have never seen him on television.... oh yeah... it's because I don't HAVE a television!!
If his acting skills are HALF as good as how he looks....he's definitely an Oscar contender!
*lol*
Thanks for letting me blow my trumpet!

I watched the last episode that Jesse Martin was in and I was like ...Oh Well ...
ReplyDeleteThe story line was not a very positive one, regatdless of the ending. I guess some would call him a tragic hero but it looked more like a pass on not allowing a dignified officer (character) resign with Honor BUT with a tarnished badge and mental problems (as well as an addiction).
Did I like his character? When ever I did watch the show, YES.
When he left? NO.
Did I like how he departed? NO.
Do I like his replacement? NO.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I give Jesse Martin's exit a 5.
I'm sure he is looking forward to moving on to bigger and better things. I will keep tuning in to see how Anthony Anderson does with a more dramatic role. I'm so used to him playing a comedic role.
