  1. It is a wrap. Hill needs to call it quits.

  2. Sometimes its good to bow out gracefully than be pushed out in embarrassment. Now is the time to focus on McCain and get Barack to the White House.

  4. I stayed up until 2am watching CNN and these returns...I loved, loved, loved Barack's acceptance speech (because that is what it was) and I love his focus on what's ahead, not what's behind...

    GO BARACK!!!

  6. Kim - You wonder if Team Clinton knows what being a graceful loser is like. She tried and she lost. What is her Plan B?

Ms. Marvalus - It was a great speech. I added it this morning as a post so that other villagers who missed it can see it here...

    Sojourner - Amen!

  8. This race has been over for quite some time. That realization and the inevitability of the eventual result were written all over Bill's face as she gave her speech.

She should bow out gracrfully but she can't because she's labeled herself a fighter.

  9. Hillary hasn't done one graceful thing in this race so I don't expect her to bow out gracefully. Unfortuneately, I expect her to act a damned fool.

  10. I said it before and I'll say it again HRC will go all the way to the finish, she will not give up or quit or bow out gracefully! If she had just one vote, one delegate she would continue on in this race...

  11. Vanessa - Maybe she can't bow out because she wants something in return. Maybe she wants Obama's commitment to support her run for either Senate Majority Leader or New York governor. We know for sure that she wants to be seen as the savior of the Michigan and Florida delegations...
