  4. I'm soooooooo happy! And my unborn daughter is coming at the right time...she will be born after the first black president is in office (Feb). She won't know no other president than Obama for possibly 8 years of her life and she will think that this is the way it is supposed to be (not having white male president after white male president). She will be born in a world of CHANGE! I am so blessed to have been through this election!

Great WW entry - now what is missing in that pictures is the puppy that he promised his daughters.

  7. So we have Obama in the White House, Liz Dole out of the Senate, NC has its first female governor and could still turn blue for the first time since 1976... and the Hurricanes won in OT in Toronto.

Yeah... it's been a good day. A very good day indeed!

  13. Today I am proud to be an American. Not because we elected a black man to the presidency for the first time, but because we elected the right man to the presidency for the first time in many many years.

  24. ..."Ain't no stoppin' us nowww, we're on the move!"...

The wife and I woke up the kids as soon as it was called! They witnessed this watershed event for themselves.

Every now and then the country takes a quantum leap closer to that "more perfect union" and this one is HUGE. The entire planet is impressed.

Let's revel in it for a while before the hard work of governing begins.
