Old School Friday * Patrice Rushen
Patrice Rushen was trained as a classical pianist. I remember enjoying her vibe back in the late 1970s when I was in college. Here are two of my favorite Rushen songs!

Hey there Villager! Had to stop by for a little Patrice! Back in the day, Patrice did a concert at my alma mater. Lord knows that "we" had been deprived of some real live soul music for years! The auditorium was packed! And she played the piano, sang and danced till for nearly 3 hours! I'd almost forgot about that until I say your post!
