Obama's Address: 'Restoring Opportunity For All'

In his weekly address, President Obama discussed the goals he laid out in the State of the Union address to expand opportunity for all -- so that every American can get ahead and have a shot at creating a better life for their kids.

    All the confidence in the world. Problem is that I am also confident that GOP controlled House of Representatives will continue to not work, except to try to find ways to hurt and embarrass the American people.

    Ned - Yeah, that is the rub. You almost wonder how great our nation could be if only Republicans and Democrats would look to the common good instead of to their own political interests. I suspect that President Obama underestimated the venom in the hearts of the GOP when he won the 2008 election.
