Rest in Peace: Troy Davis (1968-2011)

The state of Georgia carried out the death penalty on Troy Davis on this date in 2011.   He was declared dead at 11:08 pm ET on September 21, 2011.  Not much else to say at this point.

    2012 - ACLU press release on the 1-year anniversary

    2013 - Former NAACP president Ben Jealous wrote an article on the 2-year anniversary

    2014 - Op-Ed in West Virginia last week.

    I couldn't find much else out there since he was executed.
