Wordless Wednesday: Burma

President Bush told the United Nations that most of us here in America were concerned about the conflict between the people and the government of Burma. Of course, none of the folks that I know were talking about Burma at all. We focused on Jena Six, Genarlow Wilson, Megan Williams and such. However, thousands took to the street today in Myanmar (Burma) . Bush may have been right for first time in his presidency...

  1. In DC, the Burma case is being followed closely. As I'm sure people in other places in the US are following it also.

  8. It looks as if the Burmese police and military have started a crack down on monks' protests. At least one monk has been murdered.

The people of Burma deserve better than a brutal military government.
