Civil Rights Act of 2008

Drumbeats from NAACP Wichita Branch let us know that Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and many other senators and congressmen support the Civil Rights Act of 2008.

Personally, it saddens me to realize that we are over 230 years from the Declaration of Independence being signed ... and we still need legislative action to ensure basic civil rights for African Americans and others. Why can't our country achieve positive race relations without legislation?

  3. Yea it's a curse and a blessing - this Civil Rights Act. A blessing that we have something set in stone in case something does go wrong but a curse that we HAVE to set it in stone because some idiots out there don't believe we have the right to come and go as we please.

Have you read the Act? We need cliff notes for that lol.
