Children Under Fire in Darfur

Drumbeats from Purple Zoe brought us the following video, in which a family located in a camp called Um Tandelti in the Sudan is interviewed by the folks at WineToWater.org. During the interview we learn of a new custom where pieces of the Quran are wrapped in goat skin to ward of bullets from the innocent. This new custom created by the Darfuris in order to keep their sanity find a hopeful solution to their war-torn environment.
