What do you think about her commentary on taser abuse in America?

Taser get a lot of coverage, but the problem aren't taser, it's poorly trained officer. Before taser, they were just killing people with asphyxiation, but placing the handcuffs to tight, and leaning on a suspect in supine and prone positions, or choking a struggling victim to control them.
If we get rid of taser, the problem will come in another form. Police officer just don't have good crisis training.
Mrs. Grapevine - I agree with you. I haven't called for the banning of tasers. I think that the issue is poor training and poorly written 'use of force continuum' policy rules.
Anyhow, I hope you join our call for a Day of Blogging for Justice on this topic that has been called for December 4th.
