Herman Cain will always be able to say that he was the leading candidate for the GOP nomination for a moment. However, that bright moment in his life will be forever muddied by the multiple allegations of sexual misconduct. Today we learn that another white woman ... this time an unemployed single mother, Ginger White, says that she had a 13-year extramarital affair with Cain. Ginger White said in her televised interview,

"It wasn't complicated. I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship."

Cain gave his side of the story on CNN earlier tonight:





Cain's attorney is Lin Wood. He wrote the following message to the television station in Atlanta that is breaking this story:

"Mr. Cain has been informed today that your television station plans to broadcast a story this evening in which a female will make an accusation that she engaged in a 13-year long physical relationship with Mr. Cain. This is not an accusation of harassment in the workplace – this is not an accusation of an assault – which are subject matters of legitimate inquiry to a political candidate.

Rather, this appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults – a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public. No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official, should be questioned about his or her private sexual life. The public’s right to know and the media’s right to report has boundaries and most certainly those boundaries end outside of one’s bedroom door.

Mr. Cain has alerted his wife to this new accusation and discussed it with her. He has no obligation to discuss these types of accusations publicly with the media and he will not do so even if his principled position is viewed unfavorably by members of the media."

Doesn't it seem like Cain's attorney is confirming that an affair took place?

Sex Scandal: Rise of Herman Cain in Presidential Politics May Be Over

I've heard 'Godfather' Cain talk during his presidential campaign about the powerful influence of his wife. He says that she is not visible on the campaign trail because she is home making sure that his personal life is undisturbed. Today we learn that Cain may have engaged in sexual harassment of two women who worked with him at the National Restaurant Association back in the day. The two women accepted 5-figure settlement offers from the Association in order to drop their cases.

"Behind every successful man is his woman. Behind the fall of a successful man is usually another woman."

I suspect that we will soon have the 'Good Wife' moment when Gloria Cain makes very public appearances with her husband.

We've seen many other times when male politicians got in trouble because of their inability to be faithful to their wives. I guess it's not just politicians ... this is a situation that many men get into over time. However, it is most public when it happens to a politician. Just ask Bill Clinton, John Edwards, Mark Foley, Christopher Lee, Anthony Wiener or David Wu.

In this case, we find a political candidate experiencing tremendous success in his effort to win the Republican nomination for the presidency. In fact, the most recent polls in the Iowa GOP primary showed Cain was leading the frontrunner. Folks were smiling at Cain's recent campaign ad that went viral. All things were coming up roses for Cain ... then POW! ... a sex scandal is unleashed on the public by the reporters over at Politico.

Cain will do some damage control over the next few days.  His side of the story is as follows:

"I've never sexually harassed anyone, and yes, I was falsely accused while I was at the National Restaurant Association, and I say falsely, because it turned out, after the investigation, to be baseless," he said on Fox News.  "It is totally baseless, and totally false, never have I committed any sort of sexual harassment," he added.

Cain was asked if he has ever had to settle a sexual harassment or sexual misconduct claim, false or otherwise.

"Outside of the Restaurant Association, absolutely not," he said. "If the Restaurant Association did a settlement, I am not - I wasn't even aware of it and I hope it wasn't for much, because nothing happened. So if there was a settlement, it was handled by some of the other officers that worked for me at the Association. So the answer is absolutely not."

However, the make or break moment for this story will be when the identities of the two women are made public. If either of the two women are white ... then all bets are off and we can see Herman Cain forced to resign his candidacy.

I suspect that the tip about this sex scandal was probably provided to Politico by someone in the 'Sheriff' Rick Perry campaign. Don't you agree?

Has Barack Obama Been Caught in Cheating Scandal With Vera Baker?

The National Enquirer broke stories about sordid affairs by former presidential candidate John Edwards and Sarah Palin in the past. As such, we can't count out of hand the Enquirer reports that President Obama was caught a few years ago in a shocking cheating scandal after being caught in a Washington DC hotel with a former campaign aide.

The National Enquirer reports that Obama first became close to gorgeous 35 year-old Vera Baker in 2004 when she worked tirelessly to get him elected to the US Senate, raising millions in campaign contributions.

While Baker has insisted in the past that "nothing happened" between them, reports reveal that top anti-Obama operatives are offering more than $1 million to witnesses to reveal what they know about the alleged hush-hush affair.

Among those being offered money is a limo driver who says in 2004 that he took Vera to a secret hotel rendezvous in where Obama was staying.

Interview: Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick (Video)

Ashahed Muhammad (Truth Establishment Institute) sits down with the former Mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick in an exclusive interview; this is the first time he has spoken publicly since being removed from office.

I suppose that other parts of the interview will be released in the future. Personally, I wish that Kwame didn't spend any time sharing his thoughts on President Barack Obama. Nothing positive can come from his analysis of our president ... especially when he tries to compare his (Kilpatrick) situation with that of President Obama.

Secondly, I did learn one thing new in this interview. I didn't realize that Kilpatrick and his aide, Christine Beatty, knew each other since they were both in high school. It doesn't excuse their behavior. And I doubt that anything that he does or says now, or in the future, will mitigate the harm that he brought to the city of Detroit.

On the one hand, I wish that the former mayor of Detroit would simply fade away never to be heard from again. However, I guess if America allowed other sinners like Newt Gingrich or Bill Clinton to reset their images ... we can't begrudge Kilpatrick that same opportunity.

Political Suicide by Mark Sanford (R-SC) Sealed by Emails w/ Maria the Argentine Booty Call

Villagers have seen this blog target South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford in the past for his wacky decisions on stimulus funding and state education.

All the chickens came home to roost today when he arrived at the Atlanta airport from his Buenos Aires flight today to be confronted by a reporter about the lies told by his staff earlier in the week ('Hiking the Appalachian Trail?'‎). Is it so hard to find politicians that make us proud?

The truth of the matter is that Sanford spent the last five days with Maria, his Argentine girlfriend. The two met a year ago and the relationship moved swiftly from innocent to romantic. Maria has two sons, one a teenager of driving age and the other younger.

Sanford held a press conference earlier today to apologize for his extra-marital affair. He explained that his wife Jenny has been aware of the other woman for about five months now. They are not legally separated, but are apparently estranged. He indicates that he would like to work things out with her. The couple have four sons. Mark Sanford was 'hiking the Appalacian Trail' instead of talking with his four sons on Father's Day. That alone is reason to think that Sanford must have 'mad cow disease'?

In an effort to appease those who may want to call for his resignation, he has resigned as Chairman of the Republican Governors Association. Personally, I think that Mark Sanford needs to resign as governor.

Another sleazeball in the Hillary Clinton campaign. Governor Eliot Spitzer endorsed Hillary Clinton last year. Now we find out that Spitzer has been engaged with a prostitution ring. Spitzer has informed his most senior administration officials that he had been involved in a prostitution ring, an administration official said this morning. [SOURCE]

Eliot Spitzer was elected in 1998 and 2002 as New York state Attorney General. And on November 7, 2006, Mr. Spitzer was elected to a 4-year term as Governor of New York state. In June 2005, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson hailed Eliot Spitzer as "the future of the (Democratic) party." And 2004 presidential candidate Wesley Clark said that Spitzer was on his vice-presidential short-list.

Time magazine named him "Crusader of the Year" in 2002. In 2003, San Francisco Chronicle named him "Businessperson of the Year." In 2004, University of Illinois honored him with its "Ethics in Government" award. New Yark magazine gave him their Public Service Award.

On a personal level, Spitzer is married with three teenage daughters. His wife, Silda, a Harvard Law School graduate, is founder of Children for Children, which helps children volunteer to benefit other children.

Sex Scandal: John McCain and Vicki Iseman

There is breaking news about alleged sex scandal between John McCain and lobbyist Vicki Iseman. Iseman is a powerful lobbyist in Washington DC. Click here to see MSNBC report on this story.

Both McCain and Iseman deny that there was ever a relationship.

However, McCain campaign advisors were worried about the fact that Iseman kept turning up with him in a variety of place such as fundraisers, corporate jets and private offices.

These advisors were concerned enough to to instruct staff members to block the woman’s access, privately warning her away and repeatedly confronting him. Later it was reported that McCain wrote letters to government employees on behalf of the lobbyist’s clients.

McCain's career almost skidded off the rails during the savings & loan embezzlement issues known as the Keating Five scandal. McCain re-invented himself after the Keating Five scandal and became a crusader in a number of ethics areas.

The odd thing is that the relationship supposedly occurred while McCain was campaigning for the presidency in 2000. Why is it breaking now?
