Video: Press Conference of America's First Black President

Saturday Night Live has understood presidential politics for many years.

Sometimes we forget how truly talented Richard Pryor was as a comic. I imagine that he is on the other side looking down on the presidential election with a smile on his face.

My SNL days go back to Eddie and Billy Crystal though I saw some of the 70's shows on Nick at Night. Never saw this sketch. Hilarious.

Shawn - SNL was da bomb back in the day with Eddie and the guest hosting from folks like Steve Martin. One of the funniest SNL bits was Richard Pryor and Chevy Chase going tit-for-tat on racial epitaths to one another. U remember that one?

OMgoodness. I was rolling. Lots of prophecy in that clip - black coaches and quarterbacks, black astronaunts, etc.

And some great black talent, too - Tim Reid, Marsha Warfield, & John Witherspoon, too it looks like.

this is great.

DN Lee - I miss humor like Richard Pryor used to bring. Are there any comics like that now?

Bruce - uhh....ok ... not sure how that fits the post ... but, I'm glad you got it off your chest...
