It happened again! This time an unidentified Oklahoma City police officer used his taser on an unarmed man, Timothy Dennis. The taser didn't kill him immediately. Mr. Dennis died after spending three days on life support. [SOURCE]
Police were called in on Sunday evening based on a call that a man was walking down the street firing a gun. The police arrived. Mr. Dennis didn't show enough deference and he was shocked once with 50,000 volts of electricity from a taser.
No evidence has been reported by the police about a gun being found on or near Mr. Dennis ... that means he was unarmed, huh?
Dennis' death is being investigated by the department's homicide and internal affairs units. I imagine that we will get stories of his past police record. However, the bottomline is that a man is dead after being electrocuted by a police taser ... evidently another unarmed man.

Taser Death: Montalito McKissick (Oklahoma City, OK)
It happened again! This time 37-year old Montalito McKissick was killed by taser-wielding Oklahoma City police officers Sgt. Daniel Godsil and Officer Justin Walters on Sunday, August 21st. The police had been called to the El Dorado Club to break up a fight. It appears that McKissick decided he didn't want to stick around to be questioned by police. Godsil and Walters gave chase and used reached out to McKissick with at least 50,000 volts of electricity from their tasers. [SOURCE]
After they handcuffed him, officers noticed McKissick wasn't breathing. Moments later McKissick was declared dead.
McKissick may be a bad guy with plenty of prior arrests ... but, last I heard, the penalty for resisting arrest was much less severe than the DEATH PENALTY. McKissick did not deserve to die for his stupidity.
As is routine in these taser-killings ... the police immediately reported that drugs may be involved. Police said a paramedic discovered a baggie lodged in the victim's throat.
One thing that I learned from this story ... and especially from the interviews in the video ... is that Oklahoma City is truly a wild west town! Folks seem pretty upfront about their willingness to use a shotgun to get frontier justice.

Oklahoma Coroner Rules 'Homicide' in Taser-Death of Damon Lamont Falls
The wheels of justice are turning in Oklahoma where six Oklahoma City police officers were involved in the taser-related death of 31-year old Damon Lamont Falls back in July. We learned today that the state medical examiner's office has ruled that Falls died as a result of a homicide. [SOURCE]
Villagers may recall that police killed Falls after responding to a call about a disturbance at a Dollar General. Officers found Falls wearing a wig, a fake mustache and beard, a ball cap and sunglasses. According to a police report, during their struggle to get Falls into custody, police used a taser on him, but he then continued to struggle with officers after he was shocked.
Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Gary Knight said that as officers were trying to walk Falls back to a police car, he collapsed. Falls was taken by paramedics to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The six officers who were involved in the incident, 27–year-old Jacob Cole (four year veteran), 34-year-old Aaron Wake (four year veteran), 27-year-old Zachary Miller (four year veteran), 28-year-old Ramon Castro (one year veteran), 30-year-old Daniel Herring (one year veteran) and 23-year-old Tyler Duncan (one year veteran), were all placed on routine administrative leave pending the investigation. It is unclear when or if the officers were ever taken off leave.
Member of Falls' family said the officers involved used too much force. In July, the family said if those officers are not fired, they'll consider legal action. It is unclear if any legal has been taken.
The next step in this process belongs to the Oklahoma City district attorney. The district attorney needs to determine whether to bring criminal charges against one or more of the police officers involved in this extra-judicial electrocution.
Please let this blog know if you learn of any new information in this taser-related killing.

Taser Death: Gary Grossenbacher (Oklahoma City OK)
Oklahoma City was the hometown of a great television series called, 'Saving Grace'. Now it is the home of the latest taser-related killing in America. 48-year old Gary Grossenbacher was electrocuted to death by two inexperienced police officers yesterday morning. The two officers, Bryan Jones, a two-year veteran, and Joshua Norton, a one-year veteran, responded to a domestic violence call at 6:40 a.m. on September 16th. A couple were in an altercation at their house. [SOURCE]
The officers used a Taser and pepper spray while trying to subdue the man. Paramedics already on the scene treated Grossenbacher and took him to Mercy Hospital, where he died.
The officers have been placed on routine administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation.

Taser Death: Damon Lamont Falls (Oklahoma City, OK)
Damon Lamont Falls, 31, made a fatal error when he decided to struggle with police on July 5, 2010. He was in police custody for his part in an armed robbery. Instead of going to jail to face the music for that charge ... he died last week after being shot with a Taser and struggling with officers. [SOURCE]
Falls fled from officers who were investigating a report of a suspicious man, who was wearing a wig, fake mustache and fake beard tried to lure a clerk into the back room.
Officers arrived and saw the man drop or throw a pistol and run. One of the two officers who arrived first shot Falls with a Taser, and Falls struggled with officers when they caught up to him. Four more officers arrived to help with the arrest.
Police handcuffed Falls and stood him up. He then collapsed while being taken to a patrol car. Falls was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The six officers are on routine administrative leave pending an outcome of the investigation into the incident. The officers were identified as four-year veterans Jacob Cole, 26, Aaron Wake, 34, and Zachary Miller, 27, and one-year veterans Ramon Castro, 28, Daniel Herring, 30, and Tyler Duncan, 23.

K9 Castrates Black Teen in Oklahoma City
Drumbeats from Over Analyze It blog about a 15-year old having his scrotum bit off by a police dog after being caught joyriding in a stolen car. There is no upside to stealing a car, however, the punishment probably shouldn't be castration.
