Farai Chideya speaks with Villager on NPR Blogger Roundtable

I was a guest this week on NPR’s News and Notes with host Farai Chideya. Amani Channel and Lenny McAllister were the other two bloggers at our roundtable. We talked about Congressional Black Caucus, Sarah Obama and increased incidents of racism on the Internet. It was a fairly low-key discussion.

CNN Anchor Kyra Phillips Interviewed by AfroSpear Blogger

Drums beating from Amani Channel let us know that CNN's anchor Kyra Phillips took some time to talk with My Urban Report about race issues and recent documentaries she's worked on.

You may recall that Phillips covered the Jena Six march in September and hosted recent documentary on the hateful imagery of the noose. I encourage all villagers to take a moment to check it out.

Let us know your comments on either the noose documentary or the Kyra Phillips interview.
