GOP Gone Wild: Racist Texan Lynches 'Invisible' Obama Chair

Clint Eastwood sent out his dog whistle to the GOP wing-nuts in the nation during the Republican National Convention when he had his stage conversation with an empty chair that supposedly had an invisible President Obama sitting in it. Texas Republican Bud Johnson heard the dog whistle and took the skit to a disgusting level, by lynching an invisible Obama in a chair.

Any American recognizes that lynching is a direct reference to the racial strife in this nation when African Americans were lynched (primarily in the Southern states) by racist whites. Homeowner Bud Johnson has a “lynched” empty chair on display in his front yard to depict President Obama.

When asked about his front yard display, Johnson was unapologetic. [SOURCE]

“I don’t really give a damn whether it disturbs you or not,” Johnson said. “You can take [your concerns] and go straight to hell and take Obama with you. I don’t give a shit. If you don’t like it, don’t come down my street.”

I guess that our President must be getting used to the racist backlash to his presidency. At a GOP Convention in Montana, birthers put on a nasty display to demonstrate their disdain for President Obama by setting up an outhouse labeled 'Obama’s Presidential Library'.

In addition, President Obama has also been referenced as a tar baby and un-American, which many consider code speak for 'not one of us' because he’s Black.

GOP Gone Wild: Texas-area Billboard Prays for Death of President Obama

It is obvious that the fear of a Black president continues to infiltrate the unstable minds of many in our nation. Did you see where a GOP wing-nut in Victoria, Texas put up a billboard that says, "Pray for Obama" with a reference to the Bible, "Psalms 109:8".

It seems innocent at first. Until you read the Bible verse,

"May his days be few; may another take his place of leadership."

The guy who put up the billboard is Milton Neitsch, Jr. Milton is a sly gentleman. But the sign seems hateful and inappropriate in so many ways. I was pleased to see that the Secret Service got involved. [SOURCE]

Romney Supporter Gives Middle Finger and Calls President Obama a 'Jerk' in Campaign Signs

I rarely hear Mitt Romney or his supporters speak in an affirmative and positive way about what he will do as president of the United States. His wife and others let us know that he is a nice guy ... but, there has not been much policy discussion about what Mitt Romney will do in the next four years that is any different from what the Republicans and George W. Bush did in 2001-2008.

On the other hand, Mitt Romney and his supporters ... including actor Clint Eastwood ... spend a lot of time denigrating and disrespecting President Obama. A Massachusetts business man spent his own money to produce two anti-Obama campaign sign in Hanson MA. [SOURCE]

One of the billboards shows a young girl giving the middle finger to the president and calling him a 'jerk'.

The other billboard is even worse. It has a picture of our president with the statement: "Somewhere in Kenya a village is missing its idiot. Obama One Big Ass Mistake America, Vote Mitt Romney for 2012!" This campaign sign includes two images of the hammer and sickle, which are symbolic of communism, on Obama’s shirt collar. I 'spose that this billboard would make GOP wing-nut Christine O'Donnell happy.

GOP Wingnut: Obama Re-Election Could Lead To ‘Civil War,’ I’m Ready To ‘Take Up Arms’

These GOP dumb-asses are coming out of the woodwork as we move closer to the election in November. Did you see where Tom Head, a county judge in Lubbock, Texas, advocated for a tax increase in order to protect his constituents from the civil war that he predicts will come when President Barack Obama is re-elected?

Head told FOX34 that Lubbock’s law enforcement needed extra tax dollars in order to be prepared for a full-scale uprising, which he said could be a byproduct of Obama’s reelection. According to Head, the president is seeking to sign a variety of United Nations treaties that will effectively take precedent over domestic law.

“He’s going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States to the U.N., and what is going to happen when that happens?” Head asked. “I’m thinking the worst. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe. And we’re not just talking a few riots here and demonstrations, we’re talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy.”

Head says that he wants to join the anti-Obama resistance when the time comes. The judge knows that he messed up ... so he taped a home-video to try to clarify his earlier idiocy.

Where does Mitt Romney find these cretins? And how do they get into these public offices?

GOP Gone Wild: Allen West Says that Obama Wants Americans 'To Be His Slave'

I am trying to remember if I've ever heard a Jewish leader accuse another Jewish leader of wanting to be a Nazi sympathizer. I can't recall that ever happening. That would be insulting and disrespectful and a sign of a person with a true lack of character. Rep. Allen West (R-FL) showed himself to be a disrespectful Black man without any true character a few days ago when he made the following statement:

“He does not want you to have the self-esteem of getting up and earning, and having that title of American. He’d rather you be his slave,”

Is Allen West so desperate for the approval of white folks in the Republican Party and in his congressional district that he will stoop to any level of nonsense in his effort of a government title?

Artur Davis Failed in Effort to Be the 'Next Obama'; Now He Wants to be the 'Next Herman Cain'

I see that former congressman Artur Davis decided that he doesn't want to be a Democrat any longer. He announced that he now wants to be referred to as a GOP Wingnut.

Not surprising I guess. But, it is very disappointing as I thought that Davis was going to achieve great success in the wake of the 2008 presidential election of Barack Obama. We sure got that one wrong!

GOP Wingnuts Gone Wild: Jan Brewer and Mark Oxner

It looks like the dog whistles that GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich has been blowing are having their effect. Arizona governor Jan Brewer appears to have lost her mind while welcoming the President of the United States.

The level of disrespect by the Republican Party during the past three years of the Obama presidency is unprecedented. And Jan Brewer wasn't the only one demonstrating a lack of respect to President Obama.

Congressional candidate Mark Oxner thought it would be a good idea to share a political advertisement in which our nation's first African American president is shown on a slave ship. Are Republicans so disrespectful of Black people in this nation that they don't see where shyt like this is NOT funny?





I usually remind people that it's never a good idea to use Adolph Hitler as a comparison for anybody at anytime. I guess I'll need to also note that it is never a good idea to show a Black man on a slave ship. Who knew that an educated adult human being wouldn't know that unwritten rule of common decency?

While these moments are definitely funny, the truth is, they reveal a little something about the GOP candidates for president.

Some of them need to brush up on foreign policy and the federal government. Some think that under-privileged kids should work as janitors to one day make it to the middle class. And others truly believe, in their heart of hearts, that corporations really are people.

No matter which one ultimately gets the nomination, they're going to be hawking an extreme agenda. And they're going to have a ton of money from corporate lobbyists and outside super PACs to back them -- and their ideas.

Villagers, we should be scared ... one of these people could actually become president.

The Racism of Ron Paul

Dr. Ron Paul is a serial candidate for the Republican nomination to become President of the United States. He is also a serial racist. He fought against making an official holiday for Martin Luther King Jr.   He called it "Hate Whitey Day".  That was only the beginning.  There is a disturbing pattern of racism in this Ron Paul Political Report.  Here are some links to some of the racial comments in his most incendiary newsletters.

• “A Special Issue on Racial Terrorism” analyzes the Los Angeles riots of 1992: “Order was only restored in L.A. when it came time for the blacks to pick up their welfare checks three days after rioting began. ... What if the checks had never arrived? No doubt the blacks would have fully privatized the welfare state through continued looting. But they were paid off and the violence subsided.”
• The November 1990 issue of the Political Report had kind words for David Duke.
• This December 1990 newsletter describes Martin Luther King Jr. as “a world-class adulterer” who “seduced underage girls and boys” and “replaced the evil of forced segregation with the evil of forced integration.”
• A February 1991 newsletter attacks “The X-Rated Martin Luther King.”
• An October 1990 edition of the Political Report ridicules black activists, led by Al Sharpton, for demonstrating at the Statue of Liberty in favor of renaming New York City after Martin Luther King. The newsletter suggests that  “Welfaria,”  “Zooville,” “Rapetown,” “Dirtburg,”and “Lazyopolis ” would be better alternatives—and says,  “Next time, hold that demonstration at a food stamp bureau or a crack house.”

• A May 1990 issue of the Ron Paul Political Report cites Jared Taylor, who six months later would go onto found the eugenicist and white supremacist periodical American Renaissance. 
  
• The January 1993 issue of the Survival Report worries about America’s “disappearing white majority.”
• The July 1992 Ron Paul Political Report declares, “Jury verdicts, basketball games, and even music are enough to set off black rage, it seems,” and defends David Duke. The author of the newsletter—presumably Paul—writes, “My youngest son is starting his fourth year in medical school. He tells me there would be no way to persuade his fellow students of the case for economic liberty.”
• A March 1993 Survival Report describes Bill Clinton’s supposedly “illegitimate children, black and white: ‘woods colts’ in backwoods slang.”

This is some nasty stuff ... and it was always written in a newsletter under his own name. Paul has disavowed these articles and statements. I find it hard to think that he's sincere. He didn't apologize for these newsletter articles. Instead he is trying to say that he never wrote nor read about these racist comments.

Dr. Paul is uncomfortable about the fact that people are beginning to unearth his past thoughts and statements on race relations in America. I guess this must be how Herman Cain was feeling when his past sexual improprieties began to get publicized!

Republican Joe Walsh Plays Race Card: "Obama Was Elected Because He Was Black"

It is nice to be reminded that racist politicians don't all reside below the Mason-Dixon line. In fact, not all racist politicians were raised back in the Jim Crow era. If you don't believe me ... just listen to what freshman Republican congressman Joe Walsh (R-IL) had to say about President Barack Obama:

"Why was he elected? Again, it comes back to who he was. He was Black, he was historic. And there's nothing racist about this. It is what it is. If he had been a dynamic, white, state senator elected to Congress he wouldn't have gotten in the game this fast. This is what made him different. That, combined with the fact that your profession, not you, but your profession, was just absolutely compliant. They made up their minds early that they were in love with him. They were in love with him because they thought he was a good liberal guy and they were in love with him because he pushed that magical button: a Black man who was articulate, liberal, the whole white guilt, all of that." Yeah, this GOP wing-nut pulled out the race card in this recent interview. I guess it is part of his strategy to get re-elected to Congress. When the Medicare gambit failed ... this guy went to the tried-and-true -- racism.

I imagine that most villagers join with me in hoping that Rep. Walsh is a one-time wonder in Congress. His type of ignorance is not needed in Washington DC.

South Carolina GOP Debate Covers Drugs, Obama and the Economy; Herman Cain Declared the Winner

If past political history is any judge ... then the Republican Party will select businessman Herman Cain as their candidate in 2012 to run for the presidency against incumbent Barack Obama. After all, the GOP voters in South Carolina primaries have been right on the GOP presidential candidate in every election since 1980 and the GOP voters in a focus group following last night's South Carolina GOP presidential debate OVERWHELMINGLY indicated that Herman Cain was the winner of the debate.

It was a surreal event in many respects. There were five candidates on the stage at this debate: Rep. Ron Paul, Herman Cain, former governor Tim Pawlenty, former senator Rick Santorum and former governor Gary Johnson.

Herman Cain

• Ron Paul - Paul is like your crazy uncle at the Thanksgiving dinner. You're never quite sure what he's going to say in front of the kids ... and you're never quite sure if he's right in the head. Last night, Paul made a passionate defense of the need to legalize heroin. His rant seemed to get the largest audience response of the night.
• Herman Cain - The focus group says that he won the debate. I smiled when one of the focus group members noted that Cain was 'articulate'. White folks are still amazed when they see a Black man who knows how to correctly use verbs and adjectives in a sentence. Quite frankly, the best part of last night's debate for Cain was the Fox News focus group afterwards. He was the definite winner in the minds of those 29 folks.
• Tim Pawlenty - He had the highest profile of any participant in last night's debate. I thought that the others might pile on him ... but, Pawlenty managed to hold his own last night. His roughest moment came when he tried to squirm his way out of a question about 'Cap and Trade' legislation in Minnesota. It turns out that he was for it before he was against it.
• Rick Santorum - He is still a cultural warrior. He doesn't have many ideas on any of the economic or foreign police issues ... but, he had a lot to say last night about family values.



Gary Johnson

• Gary Johnson - I need to be honest. I had never seen or heard about Gary Johnson until last night. Who knew that he was a governor in New Mexico? Who knew that he admits to smoking marijuana and feels that marijuana use should be legalized? Who knew that he doesn't care for the reality shows of either Donald Trump or Sarah Palin? Who knew that one of his life goals is to climb the highest mountains on each of the 7 continents? These were all things that we learned during the debate last night!

Tea Party Activist Circulates Racist Email About President Obama and His Parents

The so-called 'birther' movement has taken another step into the abyss. It seems that Marilyn Davenport, a Southern California Tea Party activist and member of the Orange County Republican Party leadership, sent out a racist email to her Republican Party cronies. [SOURCE]

Written under the words, “Now you know why — No birth certificate!”, is an Obama family portrait depicting his parents as chimpanzees.

When asked if she thought the email was appropriate, Davenport is quoted as saying,

“Oh, come on! Everybody who knows me knows that I am not a racist. It was a joke. I have friends who are black. Besides, I only sent it to a few people–mostly people I didn’t think would be upset by it.”

Anytime you utter those words ... you've proven yourself to be a racist!

Our nation is definitely having a difficult time pulling itself to a post-racial perspective in politics. The examples of politicians going public with their racist thoughts is growing:

I imagine that this list could go on for days.  Anyhow, it's my belief that people like Marilyn Davenport should not be in positions of political leadership.   I hope that her colleagues in the Orange County Republican Party agree ... I hope that they call for her immediate resignation!
