we live 10km from the local game reserve, they are so beautiful, but my favourite is the giraffe, those eyelashes man I would love a pair like that.

Deborah - Giraffes are kewl and unique. There is an animated movie with a giraffe in it. This giraffe is a hypochondriac. It's a very funny movie ... although I don't recall the name of it at the moment ... I think it was called "The Wild" or something like that. Anyhow, thanks for visiting!

He looks satisfied. I think we should leave him as it is.

Great shot. God has such a great imagination - To create such diversity of animals and people.

My son has been to Africa several times - in fact, he married a Kenyan girl. He has some wonderful shots as well. Thanks for sharing!

I like how the ears look and also how the mud on his head almost looks like a rock in the background. I didn't know Rhino's could be pretty.

Rhinos are about my favorite thing at the zoo next to the warthogs--why do I so enjoy animals that wallow in the mud?

Thanks for your kind words you left on my blog; I'm so very sorry we have the loss of siblings in common, there just won't be a day gone by that we won't feel that loss, will there. xo

"Oh yeeeesssss.... nothing like a good mud bath to sooth ones problems away, and of course a mud treatment is always good for the skin. I'm soooo grateful God made Spas!"
