Black Moses Barbie (Harriet Tubman Commerical, 1-of-3)
This commercial for a Black Moses Barbie toy celebrating the legacy of Harriet Tubman is part of a larger series of paintings and films by Pierre Bennu that deconstruct and re-envision images of people of color in commercial and pop culture.

Guess it is supposed to appeal to young kids but looks nothing like Harriet Tubman - so hard for me to say it is a reality based improvement over no doll.
Ned - Actually, there isn't actually a Harriet Tubman doll. It's an artistic interpretation meant to enhance the Black History month experience...
I am so impressed that the commercial was made and for the recognition of the contribution of HARRIET TUBMAN. Kudis tio the company.
