GOP Leader Alan Keyes Calls Obama 'an Abomination'

I don't have much regard for the Republican Party. Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush were both scary people to have in the White House. One of the GOP candidates for president last year was Alan Keyes. I tend to agree with the assessment by the folks at A Political Season ... Alan Keyes is an idiot. You be the judge ... listen to his rant in the following video:

This is an example of the leadership that the GOP provides to America. Is it just me that gets scared when I see folks like Palin, Jindal, Steele and Keyes?

Sigh.. Why doesn't Alan Keyes go ahead and commit himself for 72 hour observation already.

Come on man... you are embarrassing yourself... people once thought you were serious and eloquent, but now, you have had too much "Republican Kool-aid", and rather than spread shame and doubt on the legally elected President of the United States, you have just made yourself irrelevant...

Kim and Michael - I agree with you both. It amazes me that the Republican Party continues to look up to this guy ... they had him debating John McCain just last year for the presidency ... they had him as candidate of choice against Barack Obama just a few years before that. Does the GOP have no shame? Does the parents and other family members of Alan Keyes have no shame?

He's crazy. We all know he's crazy. Now he's acting like what he is, which is crazy.

Keith - It looks like 'next' was taken by Republican mayor out in Southern California. He sends out an email with watermelons growing in front of the White House ... then says that he had no ideas that watermelons were part of a racially-based stereotype against Black folks. There are more loony tunes Republicans than you can keep track of...
