Male African Lion cubs Shalom and Salam, whose names mean Peace in Hebrew and Arabic respectively, are seen as they were taken from their cage to receive vaccinations at the Ramat Gan Zoo, Israel, Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009.
This is a beautiful photo and as I read the names and looked at the majesty of these animals it reminded me that so often we see peace as meek or weak. This instantly brought to mind that the King of Kings whose name is peace was also all powerful. Very moving image today.
