Wordless Wednesday: Giant Radio Flyer Car in Wasilla, Alaska
Judy Foster, left, and Fred Keller sit in their Radio Flyer automobile in on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010. The couple spent much of the last year converting a 1976 Mazda pickup into this street-legal wagon. (AP Photo/Mark Thiessen)
I imagine you got your idea from the original Radio FIYER art car that was done by Robert (Bobby Casteneda) of Oakland California. He did his in 1996 See Link: http://www.artcarfest.com/mission.html Yours is pretty cool too! ;^)
Cat Whisperer - Just to be clear, the photo of the Alaska Radio Flyer car wasn't my idea ... I just thought it was odd to see the city of Wasilla in the news for something other than Sarah Palin. Anyhow, the car that I saw on your link was much cooler!
Why did the Oakland car use "Fiyer" (with an 'i') instead of "Flyer"?
