All Men Are Created Equal
Less than a month until Barack Obama formally takes oath of office as our 44th President of the United States. Am I the only one who remains floating on the high from the November 4th election results?!?
I'm sitting here watching Count Down with KO. He just presented a montage of highlights from the presidential race. When they show the projection that Obama would be the next POTUS, I teared up just like I did on November 4th. So, yes! I'm still floating...and crying, too!
I am planning a four day celebration which includes some form of community service, a celebration brunch, a day of prayer and a small bottle of bubbly to toast the Obamas as they prepare to lead the nation as The First Family of America.
Once that is over-it is all about business. I hope that folks remember that we have work to do to help turn things around.
SjP - Ain't nothing wrong with getting your cry on every once in awhile! I look forward to the Obama years...
Lady Deb - I like your approach. I imagine that more of us will be attending or watching the Obama inauguration than any other inauguration in history. But, as you say ... on Jan 21st we need to get busy...

What a memorable cartoon! It speaks a ton of emotions.
