Wordless Wednesday: Al Sharpton, You've Come a Long Way Baby!

I like that title. I've almost forgotten how he looked when he first arrived on the national
scene. This journey is about growing and becoming wiser. He's fighting a lot smarter than harder these days. Wouldn't you say Bro. Villager? ✯◡✯

Carolyn - I give him much credit for his persistence in fighting on behalf of civil rights issues. He took his message into a legitimate campaign for the Democratic nomination for president. He created his own national organization and he eventually had his own radio show which has earned him a shot at being a cable TV host for MSNBC.

The best thing you can say about him is that he hasn't had any public transgressions that showed him to have diminished character or morals. He may have been wrong on some issues (like that young woman who cried rape against those police officers) ... but, I haven't heard any dirt about Sharpton messing around on his wife and such.

That is why Sharpton's star continues to rise; while Jesse Jackson's star got busted up many years ago!
