Wordless Wednesday: End the War

War is over [if you want it].

I know we stand together for peace.

I know we stand together under the banner that only through peace can security be achieved.

The cartoon clearly demonstrates the fear of Democrats of being viewed as unpatriotic if they do not fund the war.

Kucinich has never voted for the war and has never voted for one cent to be spent toward the war.

Support the troops by bringing them home now, all of them and replace them with UN Peacekeeping forces.

Support the troops when they come home by providing health care, mental, psychological and spiritual support, and by keeping the promise of education and job training.

Impeach Cheney and Bush.

Vote for sanity and humanity as core issues.

Breathe, Speak and Share the REALity of Peace.

I am honored to stand side by side with you my brother in this campaign for lasting sustainable peace at home and abroad for the love and inclusion of all humanity.

Much love!

Danielle --> I must admit that you have given me more reason to look at Kucinich than ever before. I can't help but feel that he is a 'protest vote' and this is an election in which I want to see someone in the White House who thinks as I do. In my view that means either Hilary or Obama. I do feel that Kucinich is doing well and I look forward to hearing him at the Democratic convention.

peace, Villager

I've been against the war since before it started. Me and Howard Dean. Today on the news, they were saying time to get out and I thought, "3500 lives and 30,000 injured too late."

As the mother of a Marine Recruit who is currently at PI this is a very powerful Wordless Wednesday... sometimes a picture shouts a thousand words.

My brother is in the marines. I pray everyday that he doesn't go over to Iraq. I support our troops, I am a patriot through and through... but I don't like this war and I didn't like that we invaded Iraq to fight the war on terror that had little to do with Iraq (at the time).

It felt that we were very mislead on the whole "weapons of mass destruction" that was the theme of 2003-2005 until someone fessed up that there really were no weapons of mass destruction to be found.

Why did we invade Iraq when the Taliban, Al Queida and Bin Laden were behind the 911 tragedy?

You don't slap your sister for something your brother did.

Anyway... sorry for the ramble! I loved your WW photo!

Love this! I wish there was a way to bring the Troops home TODAY! What a site that would be. Gives me chills just thinking about it.
