Obama Ahead of Clinton in Pennsylvania

Barack Obama has taken the lead over Hillary Clinton 45-43 in Pennsylvania, according to the newest survey from Public Policy Polling.

It’s a remarkable turn around from PPP’s last Pennsylvania poll, conducted two and a half weeks ago, that showed Clinton with a 26 point lead in the state. That poll was released at the height of the Jeremiah Wright controversy and the day before Obama’s major speech on race in Philadelphia. Obama has been trending upward in national polling and in many state level polls since then and this survey reflects that pattern. [SOURCE]

Even if Obama does not win Pa., the math and the "mo" are clearly in his favor.

Boo - It is a poll that sits out there all by itself ... and Obama's success with polls (remember New Hampshire) isn't awe-inspiring. But, I agree ... it was good news in any case (smile)...

Hey Villager.

As Pop Culture says, the math is in Obama's favor no matter what happens in PA. Hillary would have to win more than 65% of the vote in ALL 10 remaining contests to even get within sniffing distance. And considering that Oregon and North Carolina are among that final 10, I think we can count that out.

As for that poll, although most poll show Obama closing the gap, I'd be cautious in thinking Obama might win there. I still kinda doubt it. But he can definitely get within 10 to 'cause Hillary even more problems than she's already having and to shove the writing on the wall even closer to her face.

Up-close-and-personal like.
