When Eddie Murphy was a relevant actor he starred in a movie called, "48 Hours". One of the highlights of that movie for me was seeing a Black rock'n'roll band called, 'The BusBoys'.
Here is a clip from performance on variety show back in the early 1980s.

Wow. Never heard of these guys before. Sounds like they're channeling true classic rock and roll. Real interesting.
I have never heard of this group.
Who knew?
First, listening to them.
Actually, I had a hard time this week because I didn't listen to rock growing up.
Have a good weekend.
THE BUSBOYS!
Aw man I used to love those guys, Villager. It was so refreshing to have a black band out there that was doing something so against the grain. I've always supported the brothers and sisters who stepped out there into uncharted territory and tore it up. From Jimi to Mother's Finest to Living Color. On and one.
This is great. Thanks!
Wow....does that take me back!

Now that was fun!

I'm not familiar with the group, but I'm feeling the song. It's familiar though I can't remember why. Maybe it'll hit me later.
Good job. :-)
ROFLMBO!!!!
I remember the busboys but don't remember this song, I had to stop the video and take it back to the beginning and start it over! I was like, Wait, did he say I wanna join the Ku Klux Klan? let me start this over!!
Great choice Villager! you never cease to amaze me!
Have a great weekend!
By the way, did you read about the gangsta babies part 1 and 2 over at my spot? what do you think of that mess?
I remember this group (wow, I guess I really did listen to a lot of rock growing up). They have a great sound

Great choice Villager! I haven't heard the BusBoys in years.
Wow, You got me, you finally got me. I have never heard of the BusBoys. I always like learning something, new. I just can't believe, I've never heard of this group...not even in passing...
I'm giving you A Major SNAP UP! for this one.
I made a major musical connection seeing the Bus Boys again.
Outkast reminds me of the contemporary verison of the Bus Boys. Their vibe is uniquely their own.
Good choice!
I remember the group and the song. "When Eddie Murphy was a relevant actor"...you crack me up!
Wow! I forgot all about those dudes...good one Villager!
