Police Taser Denevious Thomas TWICE ... Yet, Report Claims Tasers Were Not Cause of Death

I continue to be amazed by the contortions that the Powers-That-Be go through to avoid admitting that tasers kill. This time we learn from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation that 36-year old Denevious Thomas died on November 23 from something he ate ... not from being tasered twice by Dougherty County Police Department officers. [SOURCE]

Thomas made a foolish decision to run away from the police at 2:00 a.m. in the morning. The police caught up to him and tased him twice in order to get him into the back of their squad car. He died in the back of that car.

Officer Liv Davis, Officer Matt Stone and Lt. Mike Woods were suspended with pay during the investigation into the incident. They are expected to return to work next week.

In the meantime, the family of Denevious Thomas still doesn't understand why he is dead. After all, the penalty for 'resisting arrest' isn't supposed to be death.
