I haven't run into a single person who's voting for McCain just because there's a woman on the ticket. I think, in the end, Palin will turn out to have been McCain's biggest mistake. Not that I mind him making mistakes. I hope he makes a few more before Tuesday.
Marilyn - Personally, I think that Palin is fine as governor of Alaska. She was the most popular governor and all ... I agree with you that she has been a terrible VP candidate after the first week of surprise...
Lady D - It is amazing how things have changed in the past couple of months. I recall that the PUMA supporters were feeling very frisky at the end of the Democratic primaries ... and McCain bought into the hype that the 18 million people who voted for Hillary Clinton would be available to him (McCain).
As this photo states ... he misjudged the situation with women voters...
