This is real old school. It took me back to my early years in high school. Wow! I wonder what became of Larry Graham?

I saw him sing this somewhere once...a big change from Sly and The Family Stone.

Wow, way old school! Very nice, although I'll confess that when I saw the title of your post, my mind went to the Aaliyah "One in a Million".

Awwww, I love this song, I always thought I would get married to this song, this or Three Times A Lady by Lionel Richie and the Commodores. This is quality music, you just can't right a more inspirational love songs. This song makes you want to stay together forever ever...

I'm glad you participated, Wayne. :)

Janet - I don't know current where-abouts of Larry Graham. But, whereever he is ... i hope that the sista he was singing about is stil with him...

IW - I didn't realize Larry Graham used to be with Sly and Family Stone. You learn something new everyday...

Los Angelista - Yet another example that I'm getting old...

Mrs. Grapevine - Mr. Grapevine doesn't sing this song to you every night?

Regina - All brothers ... if they are honest ... will tell you that we tried to sing this song to a sista at some point in our lives. Larry Graham get hit some notes that 99.9% of us will never hit (sigh)...

Ms. Marvalus - I'm glad to be part of your weekly meme...

This is a classic! A friend of my parents sung this song to them at their 20th anniversary party; it was beautiful.
