Hanna Montana Turns Down Obama Girls

Sasha and Malia were hoping to get an early screening of the soon-to-be released Hanna Montana movie. However, the request for the early screening was turned down by Miley Cyrus and her peeps. [SOURCE]

Yet another example of the limitations of our republic democracy as compared to England's monarchy. You can bet that Queen Elizabeth's children would get the early screening!

The Obama children don't need overrated Miley Cyrus. Hanna Montana is nothing more than a money machine for those who are in the business of exploiting the self-esteems of little girls and their insecure Mothers.

I'm disappointed that Sasha and Malia wanted an early viewing and that someone from the White House requested it. What happened to the FLOTUS and POTUS saying they don't want the girls to get big heads and they want them to keep a sense of normalcy, which is why they've given them chores and Mrs. Obama has reportedly told the W.H. staff to not do too much for the girls?

A private screening after the movie's premiered, I'd understand. Seeing the movie before everyone else is asking for "royal" treatment. With such treatment comes an attitude as well as public criticism the Obamas should avoid.

If all they requested was a private screening and Cyrus's people turned them down, then really, forget Miley Cyrus.

I agree with VP, but I gotta say "who Miley think she is?"

Let's get real, if it had been a Republican president's kids they would have had no problem doing it.

Many of these country singers are in bed with the GOP.

All - Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this issue. I 'spose that I agree most with VP. I would have preferred that the Obama family *not* make such requests in the future...

There's a reason the White House has a movie theater in it.

They can't just roll up to the local multiplex and see it, and i repeat what I posted earlier.

If they had been the daughters of a GOP president, that movie would have been screed for them already.
