Sunday Inspiration: Stand by Me

Soulclap to Iya for pointing us to the award-winning documentary, "Playing For Change: Peace Through Music" that lays out an uplifting challenge to build schools, connect students, and inspire communities in need through music.

One of the first outcomes of their effort is the video contributions from musicians all over the globe who add their part to the glorious Ben E. King classic, 'Stand by Me'.

I am in awe thinking of the technology which brought this recording to pass. What coordnation! What discipline! Aty first when i started watching I could not imagine why someone wanted me to listen to a man sitting in the street singing. What I would have missed if i hsd wuit then!!! I hope the Villagers enjoy thid as much as I did!!!

Iya - I agree with you wholeheartedly. I'm grateful to you for the message telling me to listen to this YouTube video. I also appreciate the Barack Obama political cartoons that you sent me after his election in November. Hopefully, you've noticed that we've been running them on each Tuesday since his election...

Villager! What an awesome video! Thanks so much for posting this.
I also love the fact that it's not your average, over exposed mega stars!
Love It!

Sojourner - The remarkable thing is that you created this weekly meme which inspires us to share inspiration posts in the first place...
